Richmond and his manager will return to the Premier League on 15 March. Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the third season of Ted Lasso. In the video to the song You Can’t Always Get What You Want, The Rolling Stones show how the upcoming football season will go for Richmond FC, Rebecca, Roy, Nate and Ted himself.
According to the plot of the series, the newly divorced Rebecca Welton becomes the owner of the Richmond football club, which plays in the English Premier League. She knows that Richmond is the only thing that is dear to her ex-husband, so as revenge, she decides to destroy him from the inside. Rebecca hires a new manager, Ted Lasso, a college football coach with no experience in European football. But Ted himself is determined to win the sympathy of the team, fans and Rebecca herself.
In the third season, Richmond’s return to the Premier League faces ridicule, as all the journalists predict that the club will finish the season in last place. Ted will have to deal with pressure and personal problems, Rebecca will have to defeat Rupert, who Nate now works for, and Keely will learn how to run his own PR agency. The situation looks difficult both on and off the field, but Ted Lasso and his team are determined to give it their all.
The third season of the show will premiere on March 15. The series will be released every week, and in total there will be 12 episodes in the new season. It is not yet known if the show will have a fourth season. Earlier, Brett Goldsteen, screenwriter and performer of the role of Roy, said that the authors of the project consider the third season as the final one.
