Tamil VJ Chitra Suicide Case Update In tamil: Former AIADMK MLA has been arrested by the police in connection with the suicide of iconic actress Chitra.
Chitra is the leading serial actress of the iconic screen. A native of Thiruvanmayur, Chennai, he committed suicide in December 2020 at a star hotel in Sembarambakkam, Chennai. Her father Kamaraj had lodged a complaint at the police station alleging that her romantic husband Hemant was responsible for her suicide.
Hemant was released on bail in March last year while police arrested Heman on the basis of the complaint. Following this, Nasratpet police interrogated Chitra’s husband Hemnath, her show coordinator Dinesh, father Kamaraj, mother Vijaya, sister Saraswati and many others.
Police investigations in districts including Chennai, Perambalur and Pudukottai have revealed that many political figures were in Chitra’s circle of friends. But since those involved were the ruling party at the time, the police dropped the case without taking action.
Chitra’s loving husband Hemnath, who had lodged a complaint with the Chennai commissioner’s office two days ago, said the money and power-hungry political mafia gang was behind his wife’s suicide. He said he was threatened with death if Day did not agree to the attempt. Following the complaint, the police took up Chitra’s suicide case again and prepared a list of cinema, political figures and businessmen who were in contact with Chitra before she committed suicide.
Accordingly Chitra went to open a gift center in Perambalur before committing suicide. The investigation has revealed that an AIADMK MLA continued to harass Chitra after the incident. Following this, the police are said to be waiting for government permission to interrogate him.
