In an interview with The Guardian, British actress Helena Bonham Carter spoke about her attitude towards the new seasons of The Crown . According to her, the creators should not continue the show.
“I need to be careful, but I don’t think they need to continue it. I am in it, I love the series with my participation, but now it is completely different. When The Crown started, it was a historical drama, and now it has fallen into the present. But that’s their business,” Bonham Carter said.
In the third and fourth seasons, the actress played the role of Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II. For her work, Bonham Carter received nominations for the Emmy, Golden Globe and BAFTA awards. In 2020, the actress spoke about the need for a disclaimer before each episode of The Crown, which would talk about the dramatization of historical events in the show.
The sixth and final season of The Crown is expected to hit Netflix in November. Bonham Carter can be seen on the screens in the three-episode project “Nolly” from February 2
