The 71st edition of Miss Universe is here, as it is celebrated this Saturday, January 14 at 7:00 p.m. to find out who will take the crown.
Of the 86 representatives , we will know who will win the great title and who will receive the crown in the hands of Harnaaz Sandhu, the current Miss Universe.
On this occasion, the favorites: Mexican and Brazilian were left out, giving way to other Latinas who will defend their title.

Alessia Rovegno (Peru)
Alessia Rovegno was chosen as Miss Peru 2022, she is 24 years old and comes from an artistic and famous family in that country, she is the daughter of renowned businessman Lucho Rovegno and singer Barbara Cayo.
The young woman was born on January 20, 1998, she is a model and has been on the cover of several Peruvian magazines and also participated in New York Fashion Week.
She is also immersed in the world of music, as she has a group with her sister Arianna Rovegno called Alessia y Vambina.
Ashley Ann Carino (Puerto Rico)
One of those who is emerging as one of the favorites is Ashley Cariño, who is 28 years old and was working as a psychosocial rehabilitator specializing in cognitive diversity.
Miss Puerto Rico is also studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Central Florida and seeks to specialize in rocket propulsion.
His great dream is to be able to work at NASA. But he has also dedicated himself to working with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with cognitive or mental health problems.
Andreina Martinez (Dominican Republic)
The representative of the Dominican Republic is 25 years old and is dedicated to defending the rights of immigrants, mainly Latin women.
At the age of 13, she moved to the United States, which is why she has developed there and even worked as an intern at the Washington DC Capitol.
Currently, Andreina lives in New York, has a degree in Psychology and is part of the Women’s Equality Center foundation.
Irma Cristina Miranda (Mexico)
The Mexican Irma Miranda is 26 years old and is originally from Sonora and studied a degree in Business Administration, in addition to dedicating herself to a non-profit organization called La Comuna.
She is also dedicated to sports, such as playing tennis and knows how to shine the track because she is passionate about folk dance. In addition to this, she also has a social project in which she supports migrants going from Mexico to the United States.
She was born on August 15, 1996 and at only 18 years old she won the Nuestra Belleza Sonora contest, which prompted her for Nuestra Belleza México 2016 and in 2021 she was named the Universal Mexican.
However, the Mexican was left out of the 16 finalists of the beauty pageant.
Mia Mamede (Brazil)
The contestant representing Brazil is a popular model born in the state of Espiritu Santo, although since 2012 she has lived in Dubai, where she has walked on important catwalks.
Born on October 27, 1995, she studied Broadcast Journalism and Socioeconomics at New York University. She is a content creator and talks about travel and entertainment, as well as being a television host.
Thanks to his interest in cultural diversity and knowing up to 39 countries, he has the ability to speak five languages such as Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and Mandarin.
On this occasion, Brazil was also left out of the contest.
Amanda Dudamel (Venezuela)
She won Miss Universe Venezuela 2022 and is a prominent model and designer. She is 23 years old and measures 1.79 meters.
