Movies and series to know the cast of The Last of Us

Aired by HBO , The Last of Us has already become a public and critical phenomenon, guaranteeing a renewal with only two episodes aired. The plot based on the game of the same name brings Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey turning to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. In addition to the noise duplinha, the series has an important gallery of supporting actors, bringing together stars that you might not even recognize until you bat an eye.

Pedro Pascal (Joel)

The most famous daddy of recent times, Pascal has been accumulating weighty projects on his resume such as The Mandalorian , series from the Star Wars universe , and a short but traumatic participation as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones . But in addition to the most famous projects, Pedrinho also appeared as the villain Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984 (” Life is good. But it can be better! “), and fought in the war against drugs in Narcos , from Netflix .

Bella Ramsey (Ellie)

Although they did not cross paths in the medieval fantasy series, Pascal and Ramsey are two representatives of the Game of Thrones universe in The Last of Us . The young woman played the imposing Lyanna Mormont, even having a prominent role in the exciting (if dark) final battle against the nightwalkers.

Anna Torv (Tess)

Joel’s trickery partner, the character helps the protagonist on his journey to protect Ellie in the first two chapters. Adapted from the PlayStation game , Tess came to life with actress Anna Torv. Nerds with a slightly older CPF may remember the actress as Olivia, star of science fiction Fringe (2008-2013).

Most recently, she starred in the thriller Mindhunter , running for two seasons on Netflix . Torv was threesome with Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany as agents in the FBI’s behavioral science unit. The plot still leaves many orphaned fans waiting for a renewal. Dreaming doesn’t cost, right?

Gabriel Luna (Tommy)

Joel’s kickass brother hits the screens in the skin of Gabriel Luna. The star was featured in the prologue of the first chapter, rescuing little brother from a military ambush. The proficiency in the blows can be explained by Luna’s participation in Agents of SHIELD , which had the actor as a Ghost Driver (that’s right). The character was featured in the fourth season of the Marvel plot , aired in 2016.

Gabriel Luna also appeared in Terminator: Dark Fate (2019), yet another attempt to reboot Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘s franchise in theaters. He played the evil robot REV-9, going out on a limb with the brucutu cyborg.

Nick Offerman (Bill)

Take a good look at his face. Even if you’ve never watched Parks & Recreation in your life, you’ve certainly come across an Offerman meme on social media. The interpreter of the reclusive Bill lives the eccentric Ron Swanson in the NBC comedy, alongside Amy Poehler and more. It’s even likely that Offerman prepared himself for all the troubles of an apocalypse after dealing with the craziness of Pawnee’s parks and recreation division.

He also appears in Pam & Tommy , fiction based on the true romance between TV star Pamela Anderson and rocker Tommy Lee .

Murray Bartlett (Frank)

The series does not live only by fidelity to the game. One of the changes in adapting The Last of Us to TV was the inclusion of Frank, Bill’s husband, in the narrative. The character is lived by Murray Bartlett, on the crest of the wave after his success in The White Lotus .

Bartlett plays the cynical manager Armond in the first season of the HBO series, which deals with a crazy week in the lives of different guests at the hotel with the same name. The performance earned the star the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series, in 2022. He also starred in the dramedy Looking , shown between 2014 and 2016.

Merle Dandridge (Marlene)

If you had a sense of deja vu upon meeting Marlene in the first episode of the series, it was no fault of The Matrix . The character came to TV with the same Merle Dandridge who provided the motion capture for the PlayStation game.

In addition to the post-apocalyptic plot, Dandridge made appearances in Sons of Anarchy , where Rita Roosevelt lived, in seasons 4 and 5, and in the praised The Flight Attendant , opposite The Big Bang Theory ex- Kaley Cuoco .

Storm Reid (Riley)

Those who played the games already feel the sadness just seeing the name Riley. Ellie’s best friend is featured in The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC , which expands on the original game’s story. The character has already been teased in the trailers for the series, showing that the relationship between the two will be explored.

Riley came to the small screen with Storm Reid, highlight of the hit Euphoria , also from HBO. Between one infected and another, she also appeared as the daughter of Idris Elba ‘s Bloodthirsty in DC ‘s The Suicide Squad (2021) .
