Tadap despite getting negative to mixed responses from the critics, still managed to get decent collections at the box office. Here we are going to talk about its first weekend Box Office Collection namely (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday).
This romantic action drama was released on 3 Dec (Friday) on 2107 screens worldwide, with 1656 screens in India and 541 screens overseas. Debutante Ahan Shetty is playing the main lead in the film, the storyline and the respective acts by the actor are being praised by the viewers.
Tadap earned Rs 4.05 crores from the domestic market on an opening day (Friday) despite getting low screens compared to two other Bollywood biggies releases, namely Antim: The Final Truth & Satyameva Jayate 2.
On Day 2(Saturday) it collected Rs 4.12 crores from the domestic market, thereby, the two days Nett collection of Tadap is Rs 8.17 cr Nett (Gross Rs 9.73 cr) from India and it grossed Rs 0.83 crores from the overseas market in two days. Hence the Worldwide Collection of both days is around Rs 10.56 crores.
It also managed a decent amount on the final day of the first weekend(Sunday) where it earned around Rs 5.35 crores Nett at the box office, a goof jump. Hence the total collection of the first weekend of Tadap is Rs 13.52 crores from the domestic market.
Tadap is expected to manage the steady pace in the weekdays, as the John Abraham starrer SJ2 is likely pulled down from the theatres in further days as there’s no craze for the film among viewers, Hence Tadap likely gets more screens in coming days.
